Worship Expressions
Equipping the Body of Christ to Worship in Spirit and Truth

Board of Directors

Theresa Murata, Founder & President
Theresa is a prophetic violinist, dancer and teacher whose passion is to see people healed and set free through music, the arts, and the Word of God, and to bring people into intimate relationship with God.  She is the Founder and President of Worship Expressions, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people experience worship, freedom and healing through music, dance and teaching the Word of God.  The Lord has also anointed her to make flags, streamers and other instruments of worship, and to teach others to make and use them.

Theresa has served in various ministries, including children's ministry, praise and worship, and the West Suburban Healing Rooms of Chicago. She has been a part of worship teams since the 1990s and has played violin professionally as well as alongside numerous worship leaders, including Ruth Fazal, Julie Meyer, Steve Mitchell, Jeremy Sinnott and Steve Swanson.  Theresa is a recording artist and author.  She has published two books on worship and is in the process of writing a children's worship tools curriculum.  Theresa has also taught worship tools dance classes at the Upper Room Dance Studio in Wheaton, IL.

Theresa earned a teaching degree from the University of Illinois and is a graduate of Charis Bible College.  She is a licensed and ordained minister.

Chaplain Susan Polay, Director

Susan is an ordained and licensed chaplain serving in Bridgeway Senior Living in Bensenville, IL.  For the past 30 years she has also served as a prophetic voice at many meetings and church services.  About 20 years ago she attended a dance conference near Nashville where she saw and felt firsthand the anointing and powerful ways dance can bring healing, deliverance and intimate worship to God. God revealed to her how much pleasure and delight it brings to HIm when we dance before Him with pure hearts.  Knowing Jesus for more than 40 years, Susan's passion is to point people to Jesus for salvation, hope, love, healing, and deliverance where they are set free through the power and love of God.  Susan is a graduate of Crossroads Ministry in Colorado Springs and Charis Bible College.

Ann Rafferty, Director
Ann is a prophetic dancer and the founder of Angel Wings Ministry. She has served in various ministry leadership roles, including as a core member of a church dance team, teaching in her local church, and leading small groups with her husband Terry.  Ann has served on staff at Living Water Community Church, was on the Board of The Watering Hole, and is also a licensed massage therapist and reflexologist.  Ann’s passion is to usher in the presence of God through using worship tools and prophetic dance, as well as teaching and mentoring others in power of worship and the use of worship tools, releasing them into greater freedom.  Ann is a graduate of the Bethel School of Supernatural and is an ordained minister.
